There are a lot of villages, town or places that in order to be explored you have to go through plenty of small streets.

Noto offers in its unique Corso Vittorio Emanuele, an incredible beauty of baroque origins.

The Corso is long only 1.2km but it’s packed with things to see. Yes of course there are other beautiful streets in Noto but the corso offers so much that you don’t want to leave.

Noto isn’t only a beautiful town but also has really amazing people living there. We met several locals and we started chatting from nowhere and some conversations lasted even hours.

We were lucky in visiting Noto in off season and in October because I believe that in August the town will be offering a different scenario:

  •  a lot of tourists
  • horrible humid weather

Anyway Noto is a great place where to stop by for 1-2 nights.

B&B in Noto - Casa Camelia

Due to a problem with the car we had to book at last minute (if not second) an accommodation in Noto.

We opted for a b&b close to Corso Vittorio Emanuele that was offering a good solution for us. The owners were amazing and we truly felt privileged to have stayed in their lovely b&b.

Casa Camelia is accessible through some steps so it isn’t for people with problems in walking (the majority of accommodations here will have steps anyway)

The b&b offers spacious rooms with great ensuite bathrooms and a breakfast room with few tables and fully equipped kitchen. They bought for us fresh croissant from a local bakery for the morning.

Families tips:

The ground floor room is perfect for families and the hotel has everything that you’ll need.

However there are few steps to get access to the property and if you have a lot of luggages could be a little bit tricky (or even bringing the pushchair requires someone fit to do it)

My opinion about the Hotel:

Whilst we felt lost in the streets of Noto in finding a restaurant that wasn’t full and was offering something suitable for Oscar, we stepped by Mood Ristorante.

The restaurant opened in July 2016 so everything is brand new  with nice decor and design.

The owner offered us good advice regarding the menu and the wine and we enjoyed a lovely dinner.

Families tips:

ThThere is no kids menu so we paid full price for the pasta ordered for Oscar.

Noto offers in "Corso Vittorio Emanuele" all its beauty
Only one thing is missing in Noto: the sea. If it a nice sandy beach will be really a lovely place where to spend 2 weeks holiday
