Tuscany was amazing but we had to leave in order to continue our journey towards Sicily.
Our next stop was Lanuvio, a small town close to Rome. The reason why we decided to stay here instead of Rome it’s mainly because we wanted 1 thing:
- tranquillity
So an Agriturismo was the simplest choice and we picked La Meridiana in Lanuvio considering that they had a great playground for Children as well.
The agritusimo gave us exactly what we were looking for even if any decent hotel now is used for weddings and other celebrations.

We staid in this lovely agriturismo for a couple of nights and it was exactly what we were looking for. Considering the weather we weren’t able to use the outdoor swimming pool however Oscar enjoyed playing in the children playground.
One of the days was packed with weddings celebrations (or similar) and so Oscar had the opportunity to play with a lot of children. I can’t deny that the feeling of walking around in flip flops and shorts whilst everyone else is wearing smart suits isn’t the best. Anyway who cares!
The room was nice and had everything that we wanted for a simple and relaxing stay.

Considering that Lanuvio doesn’t really offers much, we decided to eat a couple of nights at the Agriturismo’s restaurant.
The food was good and the mixed starter a good way of trying few things.
