The culmination of the food experience is the restaurant Don Alfonso 1890, in the little village of Sant’Agata. Hidden in the center of the sorrentine Peninsula.
The village is really small and it’ll take just a couple of minutes to be explored. However it is worth to visit the garden in the Don Alfonso’s hotel.
The food
Amazing. The culinary experience is definitely worth the journey necessary to find this little gem.
Don’t come for just a quick dinner or lunch. Indulge yourself in the tasting menu and you won’t be disappointed.

The wine selection is really extensive and it is worth to order only italian wine and spumante.

Tips
You can book by phone or online. The online system works very well and the restaurant usually isn’t full for lunch during the week.
Be aware that the restaurant is closed between the 1st of November and the 23 of March.
The Business Side
Even if the restaurant is the simplification of a family dream and passion, there is always a profitable side of business in it.
Besides the restaurant there is also a small Hotel with 8 rooms. The are really smart packages that offer 3/4 nights stay, dinner at the restaurant and private excursion in the surroundings.
