[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]As food critic I\u2019ve been asked to visit the restaurant LA GALLERIA . My reviews are impartial regardless who pays for my bill.
\nRESTAURANT
\nThe ambience of the restaurant is really nice. The table dressing is smart and you can eat in the outdoor garden on the sunny days.
\nFOOD
\nGood selection of sicilian recipes. We tried as starter \u201cla crudit\u00e0\u201d (raw fish mix) and meat carpaccio. And as mains we had two different pastas:
\nScialatielli with prawns
\nSpaghetti with tuna
\nBoth pastas were really good (better than average) and worth the visit.
\nThe starters were good (but not really worth to be mentioned)
\nWINE
\nChampagne taittinger was priced at 7euros per glass during our visit. This price is the cheapest that I\u2019ve seen around the world for champagne. (Taittinger NV is an entry level brand however worth definitely more than 7euros per glass in a restaurant)
\nWe tried two different white wines served a little bit too cold. These wines weren\u2019t nothing special. (grillo and zibibbo dry)
\nSERVICE
\nSlow and simple. Improving the service of this restaurant will increase a lot it\u2019s value.
\nPRICE & FINAL OPINION
\nWe paid for our dinner around 70 euros. It isn\u2019t a bargain however in Italy it\u2019s expensive to eat out, especially in tourist locations.
\nLa galleria Restaurant is a better than an average restaurant and I can recommend to eat here (especially the pasta, skip the starters).
