One month in Tuscany is a long month and we had the opportunity to visit really a lot of places:
- San Gimignano
- Marina di Pisa
- Bagni di Lucca
- Forte dei Marmi
- La Spezia
- Le cinque Terre
- Torre del lago
- and plenty more
Some of this places are of course better than others but I believe that the beauty of Tuscany is that everything is literally just 30 minutes away by car.
What I can easily confirm is that Tuscany has one of the best wines of Italy and the Tourism is booming. This region is one of the best organised at the moment in Italy and plenty of families have been able to setup really successful businesses in the Hospitality Industry.
The food is generally good but only few places are genuinely offering amazing food with a good value for money.
The good memories of eating really good food for a cheap price belong to the past and now all the restaurants are charging a premium. The Italian cuisine is slowing down and have definitely lost the battle with the French, Japanese and Chinese cuisine that have been able to evolve and adapt. (especially the last two)
